Role of State Units
Because Senior Living regulations related to the built environment are primarily state based, SAGE found it most effective to create State Units. SAGE State Units bring together regulators, providers, designers, researchers, manufacturers and others to address issues specific to each state. Examples of SAGE state activities include:
-
Networking with like-minded colleagues
Conducting post occupancy evaluations at various long-term care sites
Participating in re-writing codes related to senior living settings
Encourage awareness through participation in national and regional meetings and events dealing with issues consistent with SAGE's mission
Please refer to the SAGE State Unit web pages to find out about activities in your area and who to contact for more information. |
